THE AREA
Mulberry Gap is located in the heart of the designated "Mountain Bike Capital of Georgia," in the vast Cohutta Wilderness in the Chattahoochee National Forest.
You'll find countless miles of gravel, mountain biking and hiking trails right outside of our gates — Pinhoti, Bear Creek, Mountaintown Creek, Windy Gap, Milma — as well as the Cohutta Wilderness Area.
Not a mountain biker, no worries! From hiking to other types of biking (gravel, road or bikepacking), trail running, paddling, fly fishing or just unwinding, Mulberry Gap is chock full of adventure and relaxation options.
Gilmer County is known for its agricultural way of life and visitors are encouraged to explore our farm stays, apple-picking, and wineries. Explore the Pick Ellijay website to find dining, lodging, shopping, and attractions to build your “must-see” itinerary in the Ellijay area!
THE DIGS
Our creekside cabins are rustic, quaint and cozy. From beds for two or bunks for the kiddos...or adults who don't want to grow up, our cabins will have you Zzz'ing after an adventure filled day. And with porches, gear hooks aplenty and steps away from clean bathrooms and bubbling hot tubs, you'll have everything you need to be comfortable.
We have recently upgraded our wifi and are happy to announce that with our satellite internet, you can now work from the great outdoors! Sometimes, the internet can be a little spotty depending on the weather and how many other folks are on it at the same time.
With the option to work from home or work from Mulberry Gap, the choice is easy!
Four walls not your thing? We’ll cool with that! Many prefer to bring their own shelter. Campsites and Van & RV camping is welcome!
* Each of our 11 cabins and 8 campsites require a two-night minimum stay during weekends and holidays. If you have a one-night request during the week, please call 706-698-2865 or email reservations@mulberrygap.com.
